Its amazing how a good set of speakers or headphones brings new spin to ur fav music.

Chris gave me a creative headset weeks ago so i can talk to him via skype when he's in the netherlands.
Lazy slacker me didnt try it out till today and i'm totally enjoying the sounds coming through right now=) yippee ki yay~!

Totally hooked on keane's hamburg song and the fray's how to save a life right now.
Hauntingly beautiful songs that touches and grips ur heart so tightly that u feel it ache.

The hamburg song was written by one of keane's bandmembers about lead singer Tom Chaplin when he was in his darkest hour at the peak of his alcohol and drug addictions. Tom's superb vocals, accompanied by the quiet beautiful sounds of the organ and piano, simply tugs at ur heartstrings.

Coincidentally, the fray's how to save a life is about a troubled soul too.

According to lead singer and songwriter Isaac Slade, the song was composed and influenced by his experience while working as a mentor at a camp for troubled teens:"One of the kids I was paired up with was a musician. Here I was, a protected suburbanite, and he was just 17 and had all these problems. And no one could write a manual on how to save him."

In the midst of all these melancholy, i feel so alive.

Thank god for youtube, here's the videos.
